Maximizing Your Time
• Come with a budget in mind. The more elaborate and detailed a design is, the higher the cost. By knowing your budget, we can help you create a cake that meets both your budget and design needs.
• Bring pictures and colors of cakes you like. When you come to a tasting, knowing or having an idea of what you like helps us create your dream cake!

Choosing Cake Flavor
• Think of each tier as a separate cake inside. Instead of getting just one flavor, get a different flavor for each tier. This way, you can get lots of flavors, and your guests will have more options to choose from! If budget is a concern, make the smaller tiers the more expensive flavors, and the larger tiers the more common such as vanilla. There’s no reason to decide on just one flavor of cake, when there are so many to choose from!
• Consider the time of year, weather, or if you’re hosting an outdoor or indoor wedding, temperature matters for cakes. If your wedding is outdoors in the middle of summer, a buttercream cake is not the best option.

Choosing a Design
• Your cake is a dominant focal point for your wedding. When choosing a design, you want something that reflects not only the theme and colors of your wedding but you as well. With fake cakes your design options are endless but it doesn´t mean it´s going to be cheaper, keep in mind that five-tiered cakes, fondant-covered cakes, cakes with a million tiny handmade flowers, cakes with gum paste flower bouquets, sculpted cakes, etc., are expensive!
• Wedding magazines and Pinterest feature elaborated cakes that look awesome but they’re very time consuming which means they will be very expensive. Be willing to do a smaller version of that cake with a sheet cake on the side, or pick the parts you like about it and use it as an accent on a less elaborate cake.
